What is it?

SMS is as popular as ever but nobody wants their mobile device and network to be deluged by undesirable texts. There is evidence that mobile devices could be as susceptible as ever to spam and viruses. Our Anti-Spam solution, in conjunction with our partner Cloudmark, ensures that you and your users have a solution to help defend against SMS spam. This means an even better service for your customers, and protection for your network.

How does it work?

Anam’s  Anti-Spam solution utilises our patented Smart Services technology. It provides security and filtering features to detect SPOOFING, SPAM content, FAKING, PROBE, SCANNING and FLOODING scenarios, in accordance with GSM Association Recommendations.

The solution can also act as a firewall for all MT-SMS traffic entering the home network. This means that all MT-SMS messages originating outside the network are routed via the SMS Anti-Spam Node where the various spam checks can be implemented (including the hiding of sensitive network information from Spammers).

Anam’s Anti-Spam solution can also be deployed with more advanced SMS Spam content filtering and detection (using the Cloudmark Authority System) to detect  Spam based on a community system where users themselves provide feedback on Spam SMS messages.

The solution is deployed on a Linux operating system on HP Intel hardware. Each node can check approximately 1000 messages per second.
