Eclipse MMSX
What is it?
Eclipse MMSX is a multimedia messaging platform that has been optimised to handle Person-to-Person (P2P), Application-to-Person (A2P) and Person-to-Application (P2A) multimedia messaging traffic. It provides a high-capacity, highly available and scalable platform to manage MMS content delivery to mobile phones and supports the needs of third-party Multimedia Message Service (MMS) content providers. Anam’s own transcoding engine is integrated into the product.

How does it work?
Eclipse MMSX is fully 3GPP and 3GPP compliant and can be deployed into any flavour of GSM or CDMA network. It supports MM1, MM4 and MM7 stand interfaces, as well as vendor-specific interfaces for application connectivity.
Deployment modes:
To increase flexibility, Eclipse MMSX can be deployed into one of three modes.
In Full Mode, Eclipse MMSX will handle all on operator's multimedia messaging traffic, irrespective of origin or destination.
When deployed in Direct Mode, Eclipse MMSX will handle all First Delivery Attempt (FDA) traffic, supplementing the traditional MMSC in the network and improving service delivery levels to subscribers.
In Smart Mode, Eclipse MMSX allows Smart Service logic to be applied to messages.
