Dublin, April 1, 2016. Anam Technologies are pleased to advise ISO 27001 certification for the company’s A2P SMS Managed Services. ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems is the international Best practice standard for information security and the ideal shared reference for the handling of information entrusted by third parties. Representing the culmination of a 6 month project, the internationally recognized mark was awarded to Anam by Certification Europe and is an endorsement of the company’s commitment to ensuring the quality, strength and relevance of its services offering.
Speaking about the award, Noel Kelly, CEO is clear about Anam’s responsibility to its customers: “We operate in an environment where information security breaches have become common place and it was important for us to let our customers know that we take the issue very seriously in the context of our privileged access to their data and infrastructure. Anam have invested significant resource in the introduction of policies, procedures and controls to ensure we are following latest and expert advice to protect both our customers and our own valuable assets”. The Anam ISO certification project is led by company CFO Paul Kennedy whose task force for the Managed Services Certification included COO Alan Darcy and IT Manager Daniel Bourne. The internal team was supported by independent ISO consultant Fran Davern, CEO Davern itSM.
As a result of the certification journey, ISO requirements are now routinely incorporated into Anam business process thereby ensuring that as the scope of our Managed Services offering grows the primacy of information security is maintained at all times.
Anam’s Managed Services Team comprises a combination of deep technical SMS & SS7 expertise with commercially focussed A2P business analysis. Working closely together the team maintains Mobile network protection against fraudulent & SPAM traffic and delivers deserved significant revenue generation for the Mobile Operator.
