300 Mobile Operators

This event was one of the best of the last 4 years WAS/BARG’s. The facilities were great. All in one place. Lots of hotels in the neighborhood. Flexible lunch time (I.e. no fixed lunch slots you need to schedule for). Food was also good. Good amount of networking tables. Areas were clean and tidy at all times. The official Gala night was great. A very well organized WAS.

A fantastic WAS event. It certainly surpassed all expectations. The venue was really top class, and I thought the ANAM event on Tuesday evening was judged perfectly. This event was great success, and I don’t remember hearing a bad word from anybody. You should all be very pleased with how it went. And I have to say that having Noel and the rest of your leadership team doing the meet and great for everyone was a great touch. We at Telia were all impressed!
Regional Director EMEA & NA | Mobile Data Solutions, , Telia Carrier.
A great WAS4 Event.   The team from Anam did an outstanding job of hosting WAS4 and that it was in Dublin made it even better.   It was my first WAS Event and the opportunity to meet new people and network was great.   Everything was so well organized and professionally done.  And even with all the hard work and long hours, there was always a smile on the Anam Team’s faces.  It was also great that when asked who our A2P Partner was I could proudly say Anam Technologies
International Business, , Digicel Group.
An excellent WAS#4 event.  Over the four days, everything ran so smoothly and the venue worked really well.  I’ve only heard positive feedback so really well done again as I know it required a lot of planning to bring it all together.  We had a really good conference and being able to demo our solution made a big difference.

The WAS#4 event was really great for both business and social parts. I enjoyed my visit to Ireland. We will definitely remember Anam when we need a reliable partner in your  fields.

I very much enjoyed Dublin and ANAM did an excellent job organizing the event and for me it was the best WAS event so far!

Dear WAS#4 delegates,

It was truly Anam’s pleasure to bring GSMA’s WAS#4 meeting to Ireland (the largest BARG or WAS meeting to date). For 4 days from Oct 31st until Nov 3, 2016 the Convention Centre in Dublin’s city centre played host to 1200 attendees who came from more than 140 countries and representing 300 global mobile operators. We are overwhelmed with positive feedback on the event, from delegates most of whom had never been to Ireland but have vowed to return. I would like to thank my team at Anam for embracing the opportunity to host this prestigious meeting and for delivering such a successful event.

The international diversity of the WAS community is mirrored here in Ireland where our small highly globalised economy has a large exporting sector and a significant number of multinational corporations.  An English speaking country in the Eurozone, Ireland’s highly educated, innovative and young population offers a multinational and multilingual melting pot of skills with a positive attitude to match. Also in line with WAS gatherings, Ireland is growing – the economy here grew at 7.8% in 2015, the fastest rate in Europe.

The fit between WAS and Ireland was also evident on the social front – WAS meetings represent a quite unique combination of social and business interaction and Irelands “friendly and welcoming people” combined with our hospitality facilitated this aspect of WAS, forging stronger deeper linkages between people and organisations. Our visit to the Guinness Storehouse on Tuesday evening was very well received.

Finally I wish to thank the GSMA for selecting ANAM as the Host for WAS#4 , I thank you, the delegates, for attending in such great numbers and we look forward to progressing friendships and business at WAS#5 next March in Macau.

Noel Kelly,
