Executive Team

Matija has extensive experience in the mobile industry. He joined Infobip in 2009. and as the Vice President of Business Development in Infobip, he controls developing relationships with Mobile networks operators globally. He oversees a team of telecom experts who work in partnership with all MNO's. Previous to that, Matija was responsible for opening new offices, setting up day-to-day operations, and had operational responsibility for Indian, Russian, Chinese, and Italian markets. He holds a Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. After Infobip acquired Anam Technologies, Matija took over the function as joint CEO.

Alan has over 20 years’ experience delivering solutions to Mobile Network Operators globally. Starting his career in the Aldiscon Operations Group he supported the launch of the Iridium Satellite Network in Phoenix, Arizona. Alan spent 5 years for Aldiscon in Boston working with Tier-1 customers in USA, Canada and Mexico. Now Head of Anam's Operations and passionate about Innovation, Alan is a member of the Innovation 24*7 Board and also a member of the Institute of Directors.

Darragh Kelly is Chairman of the Board of Anam Technologies and a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He holds a BComm from University College Dublin and a Masters in Accounting with UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Darragh has extensive experience in corporate, investment, risk management and advisory activities and has worked with companies across all sectors. Recent roles include fundraisings, trade sales, business acquisitions and company restructurings.

A graduate of University of Ulster, Paul trained as an accountant in a leading auditor practice in the North West of Ireland. Paul joined Anam Mobile in 2006 and was part of the management team that in 2012 were engaged by the new owners, Kellysan to head Anam Technologies Limited. Paul took up the position of CFO at this time.

Involved in Telecoms for over 35 years in a variety of International & start-up organizations, as Anam CTO, John leads all technology, pre-sales support & product management as well as sitting on our R&D Board. Author of a number of patents incl. an EPO and USPTO patent for SMS Home Routing, John has been an active member of many int’l industry fora.

Brian joined Anam as CCO in 2014. A founding member of Ireland’s first MVNO, Imagine Mobile, he moved to UK as Global Head of Content for a British Telecom (BT) spin off. In 2009 Brian returned to Ireland as Commercial Director of O2 Media with Telefonica Ireland where he deployed Anam’s A2P Revenue Assurance solution and experienced first-hand the revenue opportunity that A2P SMS presented to MNO’s.

In 2016 Anam established an office in Kuala Lumpur to further build our Sales & Managed Services presence in the region as well as enhanced support to existing customers in Asia.

The global A2P SMS market is forecast to grow beyond $70bn by 2020 and the Asia Pacific A2P SMS market is the largest with a current market share of 42.2%; it is expected that APAC will continue on this growth trajectory and widen its lead over the other regions. It is estimated that up to 66% of A2P traffic goes unbilled by MNOs, reaching subscribers over what are known as Grey routes. Anam has become the leading authority on A2P SMS working with mobile operators to leverage this revenue growth opportunity. The company provides a blend of A2P technical & business services with optimized firewall technology.

Tan Sri Razali is a stakeholder in Anam’s Asia operation. Razali is a highly successful Malaysian businessman with substantial interests in Hospitality and Leisure, Project Development and Management. He is Executive Chairman of Peremba (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a privately owned Malaysian group of companies. Peremba are owners of Saujana Golf & Country Club. Razali was the major shareholder in Irish engineering firm Kentz which was acquired for Can$2.1 billion in 2014.

Brendan has substantial knowledge of Middle Eastern and Asian markets having served as Ireland’s Ambassador in Riyadh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hanoi and holding senior business management positions in SE Asia. Brendan is am experienced Director with a solid record of dealing at the highest level in government, diplomacy and in industries as diverse as textiles, education, oil & gas and telecommunications.

With an Honorary Doctorate in Management from the IMCA, Dr. Noel Kelly brings a wealth of management and international sales experience to Anam’s Executive Management team. Dr.Kelly, acted as Shareholder and Executive Director for Kentz Corporation Ltd and was responsible for sourcing new investment in Kentz. Noel was actively involved in the company’s flotation on the London AIM in 2008. He has over 40 years’ international experience in the engineering and construction sector.

Conor was appointed CEO of Anam Asia in 2017 and which sees him responsible for all of Anam’s activity across this exciting region.

Set up in 2014, Anam’s R&D Board oversees all R&D activity and Technology Innovation. It owns the technology roadmap for Anam ensuring a pathway for new products and innovations in the rapidly changing market.

Professor Gerry Byrne is one of Ireland’s most senior international engineers and had been actively involved in applied R&D and Innovation for over 30 years. The former College Principal for Engineering and Architecture and Dean of Engineering at University College Dublin, he has worked for several years as an Expert on the Irish Revenue Panel for R&D Tax Credits and also on the Research, Development and Innovation (RTI) Board of Enterprise Ireland. In 2017, Professor Byrne was awarded the Fraunhofer Taler Medal for his outstanding international contribution to applied (higher TRL level) R&D and Innovation.

Clive’s career in Telecoms spans a variety of business & technology focused roles and where he has particularly specialised in Mobile Messaging technologies working with Aldiscon, Logica, Gemini Mobile Technologies, Acision, Ammeon and Anam. In his current role as Director of Sales for Anam, Clive is responsible for driving sales activities worldwide and is a member of the Strategy for Growth initiative.

Pat has 35 years’ experience working with Ireland’s state development agencies - IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland. In Enterprise Ireland, Pat was responsible for supporting start-up and early stage Irish software firms in ICT. Pat is now a strategic consultant to indigenous firms to help them become sustainable and successful international businesses. Pat has a B. Comm from UCD and an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Graduate School of Business.

He is a Director of the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) and Chair of the EU Open Innovation and Strategy Policy group. Martin previously was Global Director of IT Innovation for Intel Corporation and currently is CIO & CEO, eHealth Ireland at Health Service Executive.
